My search for a wedding officiant for my own ceremony in October of 2014 resulted in zilch for my local area. Ultimately, we hired an officiant from a nearby county. His services adequately met our needs at the time. However, reflecting afterwards I had repetitive notions that our ceremony could've been a bit more personal, a bit more relaxed and presented a bit more smoothly and confidently. And I could not accept that there was no one in our local area providing services.
I did my research, talked to County Registrars, became an ordained minister, and officiated my first wedding in May of 2015. I am ordained by the Universal Life Church and the Church of Human Spiritualism and host bi-monthly meetings with a spiritual congregation.

"Tracey made our wedding a beautiful event! She wrote our vows based on our personalities and our family situation; she included all that we wanted to say in our ceremony. She was very flexible and conducted our rehearsal, as well as meeting with us whenever we asked her to. Tracey really captured everything we wanted in our ceremony. If I was to ever get married again (and I'm never doing it again!), Tracey would be my officiant. All of our guests asked where we found her and commented her wonderful ceremony."
